1. We guarantee this puppy, to the best of our knowledge, to be
healthy. It has had a complete exam by our vet, received the first
puppy shot and has been de- wormed. We are not responsible for any
sickness, death or loss of the puppy once it leaves the premises.
This includes, but is not limited to, sickness, accidents, injury
or theft.
2. The owner assumes all financial expenses for the puppy
including, but not limited to, vet bills, AKC registration if
applicable, food, surgeries, boarding and grooming, etc. The
Breeder is not responsible for any behavior problems or personal
injury caused by this animal now or in the future.
3. The new owner assumes responsibility to continue quality
healthcare. Including yearly exams, monthly worming and
appropriate shots and any other necessary medications or
procedures.
4. You have 7 business days to take the puppy to a licensed vet
for a complete physical. If for any reason there is a physical
genetic defect in the pup, that will cause certain premature
death, we will exchange the puppy. We will not refund the purchase
price for any reason. We should be contacted immediately with the
name and number of the vet responsible for performing the exam.
The vet will also need to provide IN WRITING all of the results
and a diagnosis. If a replacement pup is not available, you will
have first choice of the next litter. After the above date, this
health guarantee is not valid.
5.If your puppy gets
a life-threatening illness within the first 10 days of ownership,
-Simply return the puppy to us and we will assume vet care until
the puppy is finished with treatments and successfully completes a
general physical by our vet. We will not reimburse you for any
vet, mileage or other expenses that you incur nor will we charge
you for the vet care the puppy receives while we are treating your
puppy.
6.We guarantee hips,
eyes & elbows against any genetic defects for 1 year after date of
purchase. You must have official written documentation from the
OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals via Michigan State
University) of bilateral dysplasia before a replacement puppy is
given. We will not honor a written statement or exams from your
licensed vet-it must be documented by OFA and the results must be
sent to our vet. If your puppy is diagnosed by OFA to have
bilateral dysplasia, we do not require that the puppy be returned
to us. Our policy allows you to replace the puppy with your choice
of any puppy that we have currently available or a future
pregnancy at no cost.
7. We will not send
AKC registration papers (if applicable) until your check, Paypal
account, or other transaction is complete and/or has cleared your
financial institution. (Allow 21 + days) We reserve the right to
revoke or delay registration and obtain possession of the puppy if
payment is made with insufficient funds or made with the purpose
to defraud. If applicable, there will be a $30.00 service fee.
8. If for any reason you are unable to
care for your puppy or adult dog-PLEASE contact us first! We will
help you locate a new home for your puppy-or make space available
at our kennel! We would never want to see one of our pups placed
in a foster care or rescue situation!!
