Ellie loves everybody, loves to hug and of course be petted. She will  bark to let us know when anyone gets about half-way up the driveway, but then she makes friends right away. She learned and continues to learn quickly. She's a great swimmer and loves it. But her favorite activity is fishing on the beach, although she has never caught one. The fish all come around her when she's on the beach and it is like she is ready to preach to the fish. She is a great dog and a wonderful companion.
